Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 payed homage to Julio Le Parc at arteBA. 2012
Once again, within the setting of arteBA 2012, the fair’s 21st edition, Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 payed tribute to the great, internationally known artists of Argentina.

In this instance, AA2000’s EspacioArte stand was presenting a show of the distinguished plastic artist Julio Le Parc. On view were two of his most important works, archival material, photos, videos, books, and hitherto unpublished interviews.

In this way, in keeping with its policy of Corporate Social Responsibility, AA2000 continues to promote and foster art and the nation’s culture. Through this effort, the company seeks to offer the public the chance to enjoy one of Argentina’s most internationally recognized artists. His kinetic and monumental art brings with it a dynamic comparable to that of airports, where the movement of people, large glass surfaces, and shifts of lights create constantly transformed visual sequences.

In the context of arteBA 2012, AA2000 brings to the contemporary art fair gives the fair continuity, in a series of homages to our nation’s great artists: in 2010 it paid its first such homage with the presentation of Marta Minujín’s Multidirectional Gold Obelisk; in 2011 it honored the work of the painter Kenneth Kemble; for the 2012 edition, Julio Le Parc was the great protagonist.
