Manuel Larralde
Was born in Buenos Aires in 1982. Already as a child he studied drawing and painting in the workshops of Magdalena Cané, Carlos Gorriarena, Jorge Demirjian and Tulio de Sagastizábal. In 2012 he finished his studies at Slade University in London. In 2013 he began his master’s at City and Guilds of London Art School. Already settled in Great Britain, he changes his work and painting: starts a series of new monochromatic works. His investigation starts to revolve around the dialect of the viewer as an “external agent.” With this title and question he wrote his thesis, based mainly on the study of color and perception. He was awarded the Harriet Anstruther Prize for excellence.
